Small Businesses are Community Businesses. Awareness, appreciation and support for a small business is not automatic; it can be created. When we think of community businesses, we think of nourishing meals, hair cutting and styling, groceries, real estate, clothing, sports equipment, rentals, variety stores, hobby centers, hardware and lumber. And that isn't all. We think of small manufacturing, boat stores, car sales, flooring centers, truck sales and repair, bookshops, coffee shops and financial centers. The list is endless, and wonderful too. We believe a small business needs much more than advertising. Advertising is helpful, it tries to get above the crowd and shout out a message. We are no longer in the paper trap; yesterday's paper message cannot be changed. Change a Web site daily, weekly or monthly; present the public with Fresh ideas. The Web is more cost efficient than regular advertising. On the Internet, unlimited people can join. The Web is not bound by paper costs, printing or mailing. It is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for anyone to find out information on what they need to buy. The Web has become the first choice for people seeking to purchase. The Web is in full color. Color print advertising is expensive. Here today and thrown out tomorrow. On the Web, color is an ordinary part of communications. It creates eye appeal, highlights important points and communicates a feeling. It's a new day; communications are new too! | |
