Nonprofit Web Site Sample:
Washington's National Park Fund
Picture
Washington's National Park Fund had a small Web site with only a single Web page that could be updated.

This organization serves as the fundraising arm of 3 national parks in the state of Washington: Mount Rainier National Park, North Cascades National Park and Olympic National Park. The potential breadth and depth of this organization demanded a much larger Web site with many features.

They needed 50 to 250 Web pages that could be changed whenever desirable.  And they needed to organize these Web pages in logical areas by subject and category.  This is so people could quickly find Web pages; people will not wait or wander around the Web site.

They needed:
- A download area for reports and brochures.

- An automated E-News, linking to Web pages.

- Green colors, reminding people of the forests.

- Links to an event service and photo gallery.

- To give people an experience of the parks

- To show how contributions were being used.

- To give credit to partners for raising money.

- Attractive layouts with colorful pictures

- To show the fund raising excitement at events.

- Email forms for event registration.

We are glad to say OnWebManager has been able to incorporate everything thrown at it.  The WNPF.ORG Web site has stood the test and helped enable a surge in contributions.  It has built community awareness of WNPF, appreciation for what the organization is doing and support for the National Parks.  It has been a pleasure to see all this come together in a short time.
